 Cheese & Yoghurt

Using fresh local milk and produce when available, these hands-on classes are held in a purpose-built cabin throughout the year, you can either participate in a scheduled class by choosing to Book A Class or

Feta foundation of cheese making

In this hands-on class, you will make Fetta and learn how to make Haloumi, Ricotta, and Mascarpone Cheese along with Yoghurt and Labna.

It’s fun and informative and a great way to spend the day relaxing in the beautiful Hunter Valley making and tasting cheese. 

Lunch is provided in this 3-hour class.

$120/per person

Camembert and Mozzarella Class

In this class, you will delve further into Cheese Making and learn the process of how to make Camembert, and in between, we will all make some Mozzarella. This is where you get hands-on gloving up to stretch and knead the curd, a great class if you want to learn more about the process of cheese making. Lunch is provided in this 3-hour class.

$120/per person.

Learn how to make Mozzarella in just 30 minutes in this fun hands-on class. After you have gloved up and made Mozzarella you can sit back, relax, and enjoy. Lunch is provided in this 2-hour class.

$90/per person

Jams Jellies and Preserves

Classes are seasonal and held throughout the year when fresh local produce is available. You can either participate in a scheduled class by choosing to Book A Class or

Jams Jellies & Preserves

Classes are offered when fresh produce is available, enjoy the day learning and making all things preserves taking home a jar of each type. A delicious lunch is included in this 4-hour class.

Cost $160/per person.

Christmas Preserve Class

These classes are held during October and November and will have all of your gifting covered for the festive season. In this class you learn how to make Shiraz Jelly, Apple Paste, and Mustard Fruits along with some other quick and easy gift ideas straight out of the pantry.  Take home a jar of each along with the easy-to-follow recipes that you can make at home.  Included is a festive-themed lunch. Duration 4 hours.

Cost $160/per person

Fabulous class. Very informative and easy to follow recipes. Jenny is so generous with her sharing of knowledge, experience and time. Lunch and nibbles were all delicious and we left with an armful of goodies that we had made! Highly recommend.

My husband and I absolutely loved the class! We had our 5 months old baby with us, and Jenny was so hospitable. With her many years of experiences, she explained the cheese making in a very easy to understand and fun way. And the provided lunch was to die for!!! We will be back for sure!

An excellent introduction to the wonderful world of cheese making! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the highly interactive experience. It was paced just right for us both and Jenni the expert was patient and engaging. A wonderful day amazing food, cheeses and yoghurts. I can't wait to get started!! Jenny was a warm, welcoming teacher who presented all the information in an easy to understand way. The lunch was amazing, a wonderful way to show how versatile the cheeses and yoghurts that you learn to make really are! My husband already works as a cheese maker for a dairy but got so much new knowledge from Jenny, it really helped us to be able to scale down what he does for personal use at home. Only downside we found was that we now cant keep up the yoghurt supply to our kids, they are eating it faster than we can make it 🤣
